Komatsu Group Inaugurated 2 Temporary Schools in Petobo, Palu

            Komatsu Group in Indonesia inaugurated Al-Akbar Islamic and Inpres Petobo Elementary School in Palu, Central Sulawesi on April 25, 2019 by signing certificates and symbolizing cutting ribbon with the local government. The inauguration was carried out as a form of Komatsu group's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program by building temporary schools and its facilities as a form of humanity aid due to earthquake, tsunami, & liquefaction that hit Palu last year.
            The event was opened with Komatsu Group CSR report by Mr. Yanu Wardono as Chief of the School Development Project & was followed by a speech from Komatsu Group's management representative, Mr. Hiromi Higashiyanagi as Vice President Director of PT Komatsu Marketing and Support Indonesia (KMSI), accompanied with Mr. Bambang Haryanto as President Commissioner of PT Komatsu Indonesia (KI). The event continued with speech from Mr. H. Ansyar Sutiadi S. Sos., M.Sc as Head of the Education & Culture Office of Palu city, then continued with speech from Mr. Sigit Purnomo Said as Deputy Mayor of Palu. The four representatives from Komatsu Group and government apparatus were also representatives in cutting flowers as a symbol of the school's inauguration. The event was also attended by representatives from PT Komatsu Astra Finance (Mr. Kengo Kagawa as President Director & Mr. Thomas Yudiantoko as General Manager), PT Komatsu Undercarriage Indonesia (Mr. Risdhianto B Irawan as Director), local government officials, United Tractors, Indonesian National Soldiers, teachers and students.
